Epoxy Resin Calculator

The problem: Mix too little resin and your pour runs dry mid-project; mix with the wrong ratio and it never cures — and epoxy is far too expensive to guess with.

How to use — quick guide

Measure your project and enter its length, width and pour depth into this epoxy resin calculator, then select the mix ratio printed on your resin bottles, such as 1:1 or 2:1. You instantly get the total volume plus the exact amount of Part A and Part B to mix. It is free, needs no signup, and saves costly guesswork.

How to use it

  1. Enter your project length, width and pour depth.
  2. Choose your resin's mix ratio (check the bottle — 1:1, 2:1 or 3:1).
  3. You get the total volume plus exactly how much Part A and Part B to pour. Add ~10% extra for mixing-cup waste.

Frequently asked questions

How much extra should I mix?

About 10% more than calculated covers what stays in the cup and on the stir stick.

What if my project is round?

Use the diameter as both length and width, then multiply the result by 0.785 (the circle correction).

Does depth matter that much?

Yes — volume scales directly with depth. A river table at 5 cm deep uses five times the resin of a 1 cm coating pour.
