Minecraft Circle Generator

The problem: Minecraft only has square blocks, so building a round tower, dome base or lighthouse by eye always comes out lopsided.

How to use — quick guide

Type your tower's diameter into this minecraft circle generator, pick outline only or a filled disc, and the grid shows exactly which blocks to place, row by row. Check the total block count first so you gather enough material before you start building. It is free, needs no signup, and works instantly in your browser.

How to use it

  1. Enter the diameter (or width and height for an oval).
  2. Choose outline only, or a filled disc.
  3. Follow the grid row by row — the total block count tells you exactly how much material to gather first.

Frequently asked questions

How do I build a sphere?

Build one circle per layer, shrinking the diameter as you go up — the same way a dome is stacked from circles.

What does “filled” mean?

Filled draws every block inside the outline too, which is what you want for floors and flat roofs.

Why is my circle not perfectly round?

Block circles are approximations. Larger diameters always look rounder than small ones.
